Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an HR professional to deliver HR services to the Waynesboro facility’s employees and managers. You will support employment-related functions to improve engagement, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Working with COEs, shared services, and business HR, you will navigate union environments, high-volume workloads, and change initiatives while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and a commitment to inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• At least 6 years HR experience.
• Experience working in a union environment.
• Knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
• Ability to handle high-volume, complex workload.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HR services to employees and managers at Waynesboro facility.
• Advise on HR policies and compliance.
• Guide organization through change with COE and shared services.
• Handle sensitive communications (discipline, terminations) under supervision.
• Identify and address employee relations issues.
• Support change management and continuous improvement projects.
