Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager for a York, PA manufacturing site. You will lead day-to-day HR support, strengthen employee relations, and guide leaders on performance, investigations, and labor-related matters to improve productivity and engagement.

You will drive lean HR initiatives, support recruitment and onboarding, and coach managers on employment practices while ensuring compliant HR processes across the plant workforce.

Qualifikationen

• Manufacturing HR experience in a plant, production, or industrial setting.
• Experience with union avoidance and labor relations in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting lean process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting organizations with 100+ employees.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and manager coaching.

Aufgaben

• Lead local HR support for employees and managers in a manufacturing environment.
• Partner with plant leadership on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and workplace concerns.
• Support union avoidance efforts and labor-sensitive situations with policy application and judgment.
• Help drive lean process improvement and productivity initiatives that support plant operations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for hourly and salaried openings as needed.
• Coach supervisors on employment practices, employee engagement, and leadership.
