Job summary

Spg Consulting is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and align programs with strategic goals. You will oversee daily HR activities including compliance, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and policy development.

You will partner with leadership to drive workforce planning, champion a positive culture, and ensure scalable HR processes across the organization in Houston, with on-site responsibilities and standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure legal compliance.
• Manage payroll processes for multi-state operations in line with wage laws.
• Maintain employee records, policies, and procedures.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding for exempt and non-exempt roles.
• Investigate employee concerns and promote engagement and retention.
• Administer performance reviews and coordinate development initiatives.
• Interpret and enforce HR policies; manage benefits and leave administration.
• Partner with leadership on HR planning and change management.
