Job summary

Children's Factory is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources to lead the day-to-day HR function and partner with the President and organizational leaders. This hands-on role covers employee relations, recruiting, performance management, benefits, compliance, and development.

You will supervise one HR Specialist, drive practical HR guidance, and ensure policies are current, responsive, and aligned with business needs across manufacturing and education product operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Human Resources function.
• Serve as the primary HR resource for employees, managers, and leadership.
• Guide managers through employee relations, performance concerns, attendance, conduct, and corrective action.
• Conduct or oversee workplace investigations and recommend appropriate next steps.
• Oversee recruiting, selection, onboarding, and related hiring activities.
• Support performance management and employee development efforts.
• Oversee benefits administration, employee records, HR systems, and other recurring HR processes.
• Maintain and improve HR policies, practices, documentation, and processes.
• Lead, coach, and set priorities for the HR Specialist.
• Partner with the President on workforce matters, staffing needs, organizational changes, and other HR priorities.
• Provide practical, strategic HR guidance when business needs require it.
