Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead full-spectrum HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role partners with site leadership to ensure effective HR service delivery, employee engagement, talent management, and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and HR operations while upholding confidentiality and stakeholder trust.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years HR experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in employee relations and stakeholder management.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Business partnering mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Results-driven with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR operations and serve as strategic business partner to site leadership.
  • Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and productivity metrics.
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary issues.
  • Drive performance management, goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
  • Support succession planning and talent development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, policies and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and assist payroll/benefits processes.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of Human Resources operations. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner to site leadership while ensuring effective HR service delivery, employee engagement, talent management, employee relations, and compliance with employment regulations.

This role requires a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and can effectively support both management and employees.

Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
  • Partner with site management to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support on workforce planning, organizational development, and people-related matters.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary issues.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management
  • Manage manpower planning and recruitment activities to meet operational requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Monitor headcount, turnover, and workforce productivity metrics.
Employee Relations
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters.
  • Maintain effective communication channels between employees and management.
Performance & Talent Management
  • Drive performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning initiatives.
  • Support succession planning and talent development programs.
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Manage HR audits and compliance reporting requirements.
  • Support payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of HR experience
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in employee relations and stakeholder management.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
