• Hands-on experience in a broad HR Generalist role.
• Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll and employment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing (weekly/biweekly) and verify accuracy of pay, deductions, and terminations.
• Support multi-state payroll compliance including applicable state requirements.
• Serve as primary benefits contact, coordinating with providers and resolving questions.
• Assist with new hire benefits enrollment, annual open enrollment, and retirement plan contributions.
• Coordinate onboarding and separation processes, maintaining accurate personnel files.
• Support workers' compensation matters and audits.
• Maintain and update employee handbook content; ensure policy adherence.
• Assist recruitment for hourly and salaried openings and new hire onboarding.
• Prepare HR reports and identify process improvements.
