Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering in Burnsville, MN is seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This onsite role serves as a key contact for employees and leaders, handling payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and HR programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience; HR Generalist preferred.
• Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Demonstrated experience managing employee relations issues and investigations.
• Proven ability to coach and influence leaders at multiple levels of the organization.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping, and related reporting.
• Handle employee relations matters with discretion and documentation.
• Support full-cycle recruiting and onsite interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation.
• Support employee engagement events and performance reviews.
• Assist with compensation, benefits administration, and open enrollment.
• Identify HR process improvements and support HR projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
