Job summary

New Freedom is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to partner with leaders, oversee employee relations, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization. You will supervise HR Coordinators, mentor HR Generalists, and support recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, investigations, training, and workforce development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience with a focus on employee relations and compliance
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FLSA, benefits administration, and HR practices
• Experience supervising HR Coordinators or HR staff and leading investigations

Responsibilities

• Leading employee relations investigations involving complaints, workplace conflicts, misconduct, and policy violations
• Advising employees and leaders on performance concerns, accommodations, and employment matters
• Directly supervising HR Coordinators while mentoring HR Generalists and other staff
• Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, promotions, transfers, credential verification, and workforce planning
• Providing oversight related to FMLA, ADA, PWFA, workers’ compensation, benefits, and leaves
• Conducting HR audits, regulatory reviews, licensing activities, and accreditation surveys
• Developing and facilitating company-wide training and leadership development programs
• Supporting HR metrics, reporting, process improvements, employee engagement, and culture initiatives
• Partnering with HR leadership on workforce planning and alignment with organizational goals
