Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join the HR team in a hybrid role (3 days in office). This position can be based in Philadelphia, New York, or Newark and partners with HRBPs, managers, and employees to deliver HR programs, compliance, and day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant HR experience, proficiency with Workday or Dayforce, and strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is required or equivalent years of experience
• 5+ years of relevant HR experience (Generalist/HRBP/HR Specialist)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Detail-oriented, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Problem-solving with a process-improvement mindset
• Proactive, collaborative, and client-service driven

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related questions
• Manage employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves, offboarding)
• Partner with HR Business Partners to implement solutions
• Maintain data integrity in Workday/Dayforce
• Assist with annual HR programs (performance reviews, compensation planning, talent reviews, engagement)
• Generate workforce metrics and advise on actions
• Support employee relations investigations and performance matters
• Lead HR projects by researching, analyzing data, and implementing improvements
• Communicate project status and resolve client concerns
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Pursue ongoing learning and professional development
