Job summary

STV Group is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations across its Philadelphia, New York, or Newark offices in a hybrid role. You will be the first point of contact for managers and employees and work with HR partners to align solutions with business goals.

The position requires 5+ years of HR experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills. The role offers a hybrid schedule in Philadelphia, NY, or Newark with an annual salary between USD 83,978 and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of HR experience (HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Representative, or HR Specialist).
• Detail-oriented and responsive with closed-loop communication.
• Strong problem-solving with a process-improvement mindset.
• Inquisitive, resourceful working style.
• Client service focus.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for managers and staff on HR questions.
• Handle employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves, and offboarding.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to implement solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Maintain data integrity within HR systems (Workday and Dayforce).
• Support annual HR programs such as performance reviews and compensation planning.
• Develop workforce metrics and reports to inform HR decisions.
• Support employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Lead HR projects with timelines, data analysis, and process improvements.
• Manage client expectations by communicating status and resolving concerns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
