Job summary

Second Sight Solutions, LLC in Washington, DC seeks a Senior HR Generalist to manage onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS oversight. You will partner with leaders to deliver HR programs across the employee lifecycle and report to the VP of HR.

This hands-on role requires 6–8 years of HR generalist experience, strong knowledge of employment law (DC focus), and proficiency with Paylocity. Onsite work several days per week; no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law including DC rules (FMLA/ADA).
• Paylocity experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to operate with limited guidance in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding with IT and operations.
• Manage benefits enrollment, leave administration, and payroll liaison.
• Maintain HR policies, records, and HRIS data accuracy.
• Support performance management, compensation reviews, and engagement initiatives.
• Serve as primary HR contact for employee inquiries and policy guidance.
