Job summary

Blue Energy in Houston is building its HR operations to scale from 80-250+ employees. The Senior HR Generalist will own day-to-day HR operations, systems, benefits administration, and policy implementation to support rapid growth and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the role emphasizes hands-on delivery, data accuracy, and employee relations, with potential evolution into a strategic Business Partner/HR Manager as the company expands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.
• Investigations training and experience.
• Demonstrated employee relations experience across multiple states.
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries and compliance.
• Hands-on ownership of HRIS, payroll, benefits administration and reporting.
• Ability to write clear policies and procedures and train teams.
• Based in Houston, with in-office days Tues/Wed/Thu.

Responsibilities

• Own HR systems and people data; maintain data integrity and monthly leadership reporting.
• Lead benefits administration and enrollment processes; manage broker relationships.
• Oversee handbook, policies, compliance cycles and training plans; ensure multi-state postings and filings.
• Manage employee relations intake, fact-finding, documentation, and case management.
• Administer compensation structures, processes for offers/promotions, and change documentation.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding for US hires; drive scalable, efficient service delivery.
