Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of HR experience with labor relations, and strong communication and project skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent years of HR experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience including at least 3 years in employee relations and conducting complex investigations.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Effective leadership, team building, and change management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supports the implementation of HR programs and initiatives across assigned business units.
• Supports development and implementation of local strategic HR initiatives.
• Counsels and coaches frontline leadership on employee and labor relations issues.
• Supports and coaches team members on performance and conduct issues.
• Develops and manages programs to maintain positive team member relations and engagement.
• Leads internal workplace investigations and handles the complaint/grievance process.
• Ensures compliance with HR policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in Labor Relations activities where applicable.
• Manages onboarding and facility orientation.
• Supports leave of absence/return-to-work coordination at facility level.
• Adheres to organizational competencies and standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related area

5 years HR experience

Employee relations & investigations

Knowledge of employment laws (federal/state/local)

Leadership & change management

Communication (written & verbal)

Proficient in Google Suite/Microsoft Office
