Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Carteret, NJ is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to partner with management and deliver HR services onsite. You will support employee relations, policy interpretation, compensation administration, and training initiatives while ensuring compliance with FLSA and Title VII.

This on-site role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in HR Generalist roles; PHR or SPHR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of HR Generalist experience.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement positive employee relations initiatives.
• Coach employees and managers on HR policy interpretation and administration.
• Assist management with maintaining positive employee relations.
• Assess internal climate and counsel managers to improve or maintain engagement.
• Conduct local investigations with HR management and resolve issues.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to leadership.
• Represent the company at unemployment hearings when needed.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment and staffing decisions.
• Identify training needs with local managers and analyze training requirements.
• Recommend training programs to support development.
• Oversee effective onboarding and ensure job evaluations and compensation processes.
• Support wage administration to ensure pay equity and consistency.
• Ensure HR operations comply with FLSA, Title VII, and local laws.
• Assist with leave of absence processes and accommodations.
• Support workers' compensation administration and return-to-work processes.
