Job summary

Scarsella Bros., Inc. is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR functions, serve as EEO Officer, and support employees and supervisors across relations, compliance, recruiting, benefits, and more.

The role requires strong judgment, effective communication, and independent work across functions, including union-related activities. The ideal candidate will have construction-industry experience, familiarity with collective bargaining agreements, and proficiency with HRIS and payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience in construction or unionized environments preferred.
• Familiarity with EEO, affirmative action and federal contractor compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for employees and supervisors on HR matters.
• Provide guidance on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary action.
• Maintain EEO documentation and assist with audits, reporting, and complaints.
• Coordinate recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding.
