Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking a Human Resources Generalist & Talent Sourcing to guide end-to-end onboarding and offboarding for a mix of union and core staff. You will drive candidate outreach, intake calls, and scheduling while coordinating with Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct construction sourcing experience.
• Experience sourcing Project Managers, Estimators, Mechanics, Superintendents and other leadership roles.
• Strong experience with LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, and proactive candidate outreach.
• Experience conducting intake calls, evaluating qualifications, and scheduling with recruiters.
• Experience working within an ATS and managing multiple candidate pipelines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates for field operations, project management, estimating, and other roles.
• Conduct proactive candidate outreach through LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, phone, email, text, and other channels.
• Conduct initial candidate intake calls to assess experience, qualifications, availability, location, and fit.
• Schedule qualified candidates for interviews with Senior Recruiters and coordinate with teams.
