Job summary

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES INC in California seeks an experienced HR professional to support a 400+ person multi-site organization. You will enforce HR policies, coordinate onboarding, manage personnel files, and support benefits enrollment while guiding the HR team through daily operations.

Responsibilities include open enrollment, regulatory reporting, and partnering with leadership and vendors to ensure compliant HR practices and a smooth employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in Human Resources; knowledge of HR practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across levels including leadership and vendors.
• California driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies and HR practices.
• Support HR and regulatory/compliance reporting requirements.
• Oversee daily HR workflow; lead monthly duties.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation.
• Manage employee files and documentation for audits.
• Lead open enrollment and benefit enrollment processes.
