Behavior Treatment & Analysis Inc. in California is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with state laws.

This hands-on role works closely with the HR Lead to ensure accurate records and smooth processes. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2–3 years in HR or admin support, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of HR or administrative support experience.
• Basic knowledge of HR practices and California labor laws.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience with HRIS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations and ensure timely execution of HR processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR documentation.
• Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.
• Ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Support employee relations matters by documenting issues and escalating to HR Manager as needed.
• Assist in disciplinary processes, investigations, and follow-ups under HR Manager guidance.
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws and company policies.
• Maintain and track certifications, background checks, and credentials.
• Assist with audits and proper documentation.
• Support payroll processes by reviewing timekeeping and data accuracy.
• Assist with status changes, leave tracking, and HR system updates.
• Coordinate offboarding processes and system updates.
• Support initiatives that promote employee engagement and communications.
