Job summary

RTX is seeking a driven Principal Specialist, HR Employee Partner to join our SBU and Business Functions, Operations Excellence team, supporting Finance. You will coach frontline leaders, foster positive employee relations, and solve complex problems to ensure high-performing teams.

Responsibilities include workplace investigations, engagement initiatives, and partnering across teams. The role emphasizes trust, respect, and transparency in managing confidential information.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of human resources experience.

Responsibilities

• Support RTX’s People Strategy through positive employee relations.
• Drive employee engagement strategy and monitor data and tools to proactively address engagement risks.
• Provide HR policy interpretation and ensure fair application.
• Coach and counsel leaders to develop high-performing teams, including performance coaching and management.
• Navigate complex workplace situations between employees.
• Support leaders and employees with completion of key HR processes, such as Annual Compensation Planning, Performance Impact, Individual Development Plans, and leader training.
• Investigate HR matters objectively and drive resolution.
• Support workforce hiring, reduction, and rebalancing as required by business needs.
