Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company seeks a Senior HR Data Governance Analyst to ensure the integrity and governance of global HR data. You will collaborate across HR, HR IT, Payroll, Finance, and Compensation to improve data accuracy, processes, and decision-making.

This on-site role at the Hinckley facility in Cleveland requires strong data governance, analytics, and stakeholder engagement to reduce risk and drive sustainable improvements in HR data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HR data governance, HR operations, HR systems, workforce data, business analysis, reporting, or compliance.
• Experience investigating data, system or operational issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
• Experience developing governance documentation, rules, controls, and data definitions.
• Experience with HR data changes, security governance, or mass data transactions.
• Proficiency with Excel for large data sets and data validation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Govern HR data governance and manage complex transactions and data changes.
• Identify data quality, compliance, and operational risks and implement corrective actions.
• Develop governance frameworks, SOPs, data definitions, and training materials.
• Lead governance discussions and coordinate with HR, HR IT, Payroll, Finance, and Compensation.
• Produce reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor data quality and risks.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and remediation efforts.
• Educate stakeholders on data requirements and governance best practices.
