Job summary

The City of Shreveport seeks a Senior Human Resources Analyst to support the Director of Personnel/Human Resources. You may supervise a small HR team and provide high‑quality service to internal and external customers.

You will maintain leave reports and files for office staff and drive critical HR processes. Responsibilities include collecting and maintaining HR data, generating monthly reports, supporting applicant tracking, and coordinating with timekeepers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in HR, Business, or related field.
• Six years or more of professional HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, input, and maintain extensive HR data.
• Run monthly HRIS reports.
• Assist with applications and applicant tracking system.
• Coordinate with timekeepers and field staff.
• Assist with updating weekly job listings.
• Support HR policies, classifications, pay, recruiting, and unemployment processes.
• Interpret HR procedures for city officials, employees, and applicants.
• Research, develop, and administer examinations.
• May supervise a small HR staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
