Job summary

Louisiana Department of Education – Human Resources in Baton Rouge seeks a Human Resources Analyst to be the first point of contact for CPM, policy administration, and SCS compliance, while providing office support that keeps the agency running smoothly.

Experience with LaGov (SAP), CPM, Police Administration, and Adobe is encouraged. The role emphasizes accountability, clear communication, and critical thinking in serving applicants and staff.

Qualifications

• Five years of human resources experience; OR
• Six years of full-time experience in any field plus two years of HR experience; OR
• A bachelor’s degree plus two years of HR experience; OR
• An advanced degree in HR or related fields plus one year HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and staff with kindness and professionalism
• Manage the agency’s CPM process from start to finish, tracking movement and assisting as required
• Answer incoming calls and provide information about office services
• Coordinate and update job descriptions
• Policy administration
• Communicate daily with other analysts, specialists, office and agency leaders
• Support the team with everyday tasks
