Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to work with senior leadership on strategic, local, market-level and enterprise-wide HR initiatives within the OpCo.

You will lead talent development, succession planning, and performance management, while guiding policy interpretation, employee relations, and training across the organization. Travel to Sysco facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of exempt-level HR experience or 7+ years of strategic HR leadership and management experience.
• Knowledge of applicable HR laws and regulations.
• Strong consultative, presentation and business communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior management to identify and develop talent through formal training, mentoring, coaching, and stretch assignments.
• Participate in succession planning to ensure talent is available for greater responsibility roles.
• Oversee performance management and associate reviews/evaluations.
• Provide training and consultation as necessary.
• Respond to grievances, review disciplinary programs, and participate in union negotiations.
• Coach OpCo leaders on employment policy interpretation, dispute resolution, and corrective action.
