Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin or related field required.
• 7+ years of HR leadership in distribution/manufacturing environments.
• 10 years experience preferred.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR for a Sysco site in Columbia, ensuring policy and legal compliance.
• Coach site leaders and associates on employment-related matters.
• Support investigations, workforce planning, and culture initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Affirmative Action Program and EEOC reporting.
• Review and ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Coordinate recruiting with Sysco Business Services to maintain staffing and reduce turnover.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to site HR staff and escalate issues.
