Job summary

Sysco seeks a Regional Vice President of HR to partner with regional leadership and drive enterprise-wide HR initiatives across sites in the region. You will lead talent development, succession planning, and policy execution to support growth and compliance. This role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coach senior teams.

Travel to sites within the region is required 1–3 times per month; preferred Workday experience and HR certifications are advantageous.

• Exempt HR leadership with strategic influence across regions.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and corporate policy.
• Proven ability to coach senior teams and develop talent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional leads to execute Corporate, Market and Regional HR initiatives.
• Oversee succession planning and talent development across the Region.
• Lead performance management, reviews and coaching for leaders.
• Address grievances, investigations and union-related matters as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Provide guidance to HR staff and oversee benefits/compensation policies.
