Job summary

WhiteCap Search is seeking a Lead HR Business Partner for a rapidly growing insurance-focused organization in the Chicago area. The role aligns talent practices with strategic business goals, fosters engagement, and ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies.

The successful candidate will partner with leadership to drive organizational development, manage talent reviews, and lead large-scale HR initiatives across a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines, ideally in Insurance or Financial Services.
• Experience in a matrixed or complex business environment.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and consulting skills.
• Ability to build relationships and handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage employee relations and ensure legal compliance.
• Learning & Development: Facilitate training to enhance organizational capability.
