Job summary

LaSalle Network is partnering with a high-growth insurance leader to hire a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner in Chicago, IL. This on-site role offers a trusted-advisor seat to influence employee relations strategy, talent outcomes, and organizational effectiveness across 500+ employees.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable rolling up their sleeves, with 7+ years of HRBP experience, a history of partnering with senior leaders, and willingness to travel about 25% to start.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Human Resources Business Partner experience.
• Depth in employee relations including complex investigations and executive-level ER matters.
• Experience supporting a complex, regulated, or high-stakes environment (insurance/financial services preferred).
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to align people strategy with business goals across 500+ employees.
• Lead employee relations including performance management, coaching, PIPs, terminations and sensitive matters.
• Conduct and manage complex investigations and executive ER issues with sound judgment.
• Drive talent management including succession planning, leadership development, and performance processes.
• Collaborate with finance on workforce planning and talent investment discussions.
• Build trust and credibility across all levels with a highly collaborative style.
