Lockton Companies in Chicago, Illinois seeks a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner responsible for a full range of HR functions.

This position reports to the SVP, Director of Human Resources for a 3,000 associate business unit and requires an experienced HR expert who can balance operational thinking, HR program execution and process innovation. This role will be the HR business partner for a business unit of 850 associates spanning six locations focused on Risk Management and Property &

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 10+ years as an HR Business Partner in a multi-state environment.
• PHR, SPHR or equivalent certification.
• Solid knowledge of state and federal laws.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Partnership with key stakeholders to implement strategic human capital solutions.
• Drive talent management rigor across departments and develop high potential/high performing talent.
• Provide strategic HR support to leadership.
• Develop succession plans and skills gap analyses, ensuring they are reviewed and acted on.
• Drive development of HR strategies and ensure their execution.
• Guide managers and associates on policies and disciplinary actions, including investigations.
• Ensure performance appraisals comply with company policy.
• Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and compliance.
