Job summary

HMSHost in Baltimore seeks a Field HR Business Partner B (HRBP) to lead the HR function for a high-volume location. This senior role partners with Operations and regional leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and drive engagement.

You will mentor HR staff, manage labor relations, recruit and onboard talent, and ensure compliant HR policies across the location, with travel up to 50% to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent.
• Requires the ability to analyze information to recommend resolutions to complex problems and strategic challenges.
• Requires HRCI SPHR certification or equivalent.
• Requires 7-10 years of experience in HR with 3-5 years of HR management experience.
• Requires competency in developing HR strategies and employee engagement.
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires ability to build collaborative partnerships and knowledge of employment laws.
• Requires travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develops trusted advisor relationship with Sr. Director of Operations.
• Advises operations on engagement, retention, training and discipline.
• Establishes positive HR presence within branches and among associates.
• Directs HR staff to address Associate Relations issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintains positive Labor relations and participates in arbitration and contract negotiations.
• Partners with departments to support operations objectives.
• Directs recruiting life-cycle at locations.
• Oversees onboarding and training delivery.
• Communicates with peers and Regional HRD on HR state of locations.
• Keeps knowledge current on regulatory and HR trends.
