Job summary

GAF seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to influence and lead HR programs for multi-site locations including a union and a non-union site. You will partner with leaders to drive organizational design, talent management, change management, and workforce planning across the network.

The Sr HRBP will ensure consistent application of policies, champion the employee experience, and maintain compliance within the function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business Management, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership responsibility in exempt HR positions in a unionized industrial environment.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partner: align HR services with business needs and lead projects from the annual HR plan.
• Design and implement policies and programs to improve productivity and development of the HR function.
• Develop HR professionals within the HR Operations organization.
• Ensure consistent application of policies and labor agreements across locations.
• Provide expert advice and coaching; foster a strong leadership and coaching culture.
• Support talent management, succession planning, and performance forecasting.
• Surface actionable insights using HR analytics and data trends.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and influence key decision-makers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
