Job summary

GAF in Newton, KS is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership. You will lead organizational design, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives while ensuring compliance with HR laws and policy management across the site.

You will partner with plant leaders to drive workforce planning, develop HR programs, and manage employee relations, investigations, and change initiatives for the site.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in organizational design, performance management, and employee engagement strategies.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws and regulations.
• Experience with workforce planning, leadership development, and change management.
• Ability to analyze HR data and translate insights into actions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key HR Business Partner for plant departments on all HR aspects.
• Manage employee relations in alignment with company mission, values, and goals.
• Conduct effective, thorough investigations.
• Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws.
• Develop and implement HR policies and processes aligned to GAF strategy.
• Utilize HR metrics to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Support leaders in identifying, prioritizing, and building organizational capabilities.
• Lead change management for restructures, initiatives, and culture shifts.
• Provide expert coaching and guidance to leaders.
