Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Senior HR AI Specialist to translate HR needs into AI-enabled, scalable solutions, bridging HR COEs, stakeholders, and technology teams to design, test, and evolve AI-powered HR experiences.

The role combines technical business analysis, user journey design, testing, prompt engineering, and product thinking to support AI and automation, from requirements through deployment and ongoing performance monitoring. This onsite role in Minneapolis includes up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical business analysis experience, including experience designing AI or automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience supporting at least one large-scale AI, machine learning (ML), automation, or enterprise chatbot implementation.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements and working across business and technology teams.
• Experience developing test cases, supporting user acceptance testing, and creating technical or functional documentation.
• For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate HR business requirements into technical requirements in partnership with stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams.
• Evaluate AI and automation use cases, including solution readiness, data availability, resource requirements, and expected business outcomes.
• Design user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models that translate AI capabilities into effective HR experiences.
• Lead solution testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case development, technical documentation, and validation of quality and performance.
• Monitor AI and bot performance to improve accuracy, reliability, and user experience.
• Partner with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), technology teams, and external vendors to align solution design, product capabilities, and emerging AI technologies with business needs.
