Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking Service Coordinators in Atlanta to advocate for residents and coordinate supportive services. You will engage residents, connect them with community resources, and help coordinate programs to enhance living and care for seniors.

The role emphasizes collaboration with local agencies, problem-solving, and delivering measurable outcomes while supporting a high quality of life for residents. Full-time with weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, organize, and problem-solve to deliver measurable results for residents.
• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Liaise with community agencies and service providers to identify discounted or low-cost services.
• Engage residents to identify needs and refer to community resources.
• Develop a Resource Directory of state/local service providers.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, services, life skills, and referrals.
• Provide quality customer service and assist residents with basic needs.
• Assist residents in accessing community services like meals, transportation, and daily living support.
• Document resident feedback and communicate with families; manage internal/external relationships.
