Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years of full-time experience in housing operations and residential facilities management in a university setting.
• Possess a valid driver's license and be qualified to operate a motor vehicle in Maryland.
• Ability to analyze and solve challenging interpersonal and/or technical issues daily.
• Ability to judge when quick decisions are necessary and when further evaluation is warranted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of the Housing Facilities Manager and contribute to strategic planning.
• Coordinate department-wide facilities needs and represent Housing and Residence Life on projects.
• Maintain daily collaboration with operations and maintenance and attend weekly manager meetings.
• Develop departmental goals for a growing residential campus and support day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with campus, state, and federal building, fire, life safety, and health codes; foster safety culture.
• Lead the housing facilities portfolio with engagement and inclusivity for staff and students.
