Job summary

Wittenberg University seeks an Associate Director of Housing and Operations to lead the university's housing program on a fully residential campus. You will supervise housing operations, occupancy management, and related software while ensuring safe, inclusive living communities.

The role requires a Master's degree and 3–5 years in housing/residence life, with evening/weekend duties and collaboration across Facilities, Safety, and Student Development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in college student affairs, higher education administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in housing and residence life operations.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Publisher, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with property management, landlord-tenant laws, and group housing in higher education.
• Familiarity with ADK, CBORD, Datatel Ellucian Colleague and JotForm is helpful.
• Strong communication and ability to work across campus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate housing operations for 1,500 beds across dorms and student housing properties.
• Develop and manage housing assignment processes and occupancy management.
• Maintain occupancy records, rates, and maintenance records.
• Ensure housing software and databases are up to date.
• Collaborate with conferencing services, facilities, housekeeping and campus partners.
• Oversee move-in/move-out, early arrivals, and break housing during peak times.
• Participate in 24-hour crisis intervention and on-call duties.
• Support ADA housing accommodations and ESA policies with Campus partners.
