Capstone On Campus Management LLC is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager at the University of Maryland’s South Campus Commons to lead a team that keeps residential spaces safe, clean, and well-maintained. The role coordinates maintenance, cleaning, and preventive programs across seven buildings serving 2,195 residents.

The manager will oversee staff performance, manage budgets, and collaborate with campus partners to ensure a high-quality housing experience and smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of full-time facilities management experience.
• Onsite attendance Monday through Friday; availability for evenings/weekends during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, cleaning, and custodial services across seven buildings and 2,195 residents.
• Ensure facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards.
• Develop and evaluate preventive maintenance programs to extend asset life.
• Monitor work orders, service requests, and emergencies to minimize disruption.
• Supervise and develop approximately 20 Facilities staff members.
