Job summary

CCH Central Office in Walnut Creek seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee acquisition/rehab and new construction projects funded from private, federal, state, and local sources including LIHTC. The role coordinates day-to-day planning, design, and implementation with consultants and agency staff; requires extensive travel regionally and nationally.

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of affordable housing development experience are required with strong budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with financial, construction, or project development emphasis, or related major field; AND a minimum of 5+ years relevant affordable housing experience; AND thorough knowledge and proven experience managing projects through all stages of the development process from planning to completion.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate project management for acquisition/rehabilitation and/or new construction projects funded through private, federal, state and local sources including LIHTC.
• Organize and oversee day-to-day planning, design and implementation of complex real estate development projects with consultants and agency staff.
• Travel regionally and nationally as required.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial pro formas, schedules, and reports.
