The Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Division of Special Needs Housing (DSNH) to oversee the development of SHLP, SARA, and Homeless Housing initiatives from pre-development through rent-up. You will collaborate with the Director of Development, Deputy Directors, and HPD staff to meet ambitious production goals.

• Bachelor's degree and two years of community work or related duties.
• Demonstrated experience with government programs or housing development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for project sponsors, consultants, and agencies.
• Negotiate deal structure, funding commitments, and project requirements for HPD.
• Review loan underwriting, proformas, and required environmental reviews.
• Coordinate construction closings and post-closing activity.
• Track project milestones and resolve construction-related issues.
