Job summary

Summit Management Corporation seeks an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the Complex General Manager in overseeing Holiday Inn Express and TownePlace Suites- Atlanta Buckhead, two hotels totaling 200 rooms within the same complex in the Atlanta market.

The AGM will be a highly visible, hands-on leader responsible for day-to-day operations across both properties, ensuring brand standards, inspecting rooms and public areas, and guiding department leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hotel operations or leadership experience.
• Experience as an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role preferred.
• Experience within a select-service, full-service, or multi-property hotel environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, guest services, and basic financial and labor management.
• Must be comfortable working a non-traditional and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support the Complex General Manager in overseeing daily operations across both hotels.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the properties and regularly inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and operational departments.
• Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, company policies, operating procedures, and service expectations.
• Monitor completion of property action plans and ensure assigned initiatives are carried through to completion.
• Assist in ensuring the hotels are always ready for brand inspections, quality assurance reviews, ownership visits, and other operational evaluations by conducting routine property inspections and ensuring identified deficiencies are corrected promptly.
