Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Las Vegas is seeking an Engineer, Level 3 to perform skilled repairs on building systems and maintain equipment with minimal disruption to guests.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of hotel experience; supervisory skills are preferred, with flexibility for long hours. Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical, plumbing repairs, and preventive maintenance across hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Trade school and/or college coursework in related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory skills preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical systems, etc.
• Take required readings on equipment and test cooling towers.
• Repair plumbing, wiring, pumps, and fixtures; read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot hotel equipment and maintain maintenance records.
