Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a maintenance technician to support guestrooms repairs, respond to guest requests, and perform preventative upkeep across the property. The position is five days a week from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM at Courtyard Las Vegas.

You will help operate, maintain, and repair equipment, change bulbs, and handle minor furniture repairs, with duties extending to HVAC, plumbing, and general room upkeep as assigned. Prior hotel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Change out light bulbs and perform minor repairs in guest rooms.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Monitor energy use and report issues to the Front Desk.
• Respond to alarms and assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
