Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the maintenance of a premier hotel/resort. The role focuses on keeping the property attractive, safe and fully operable, with accountability for the physical plant, preventative maintenance and energy conservation.

You will supervise engineering teams, manage maintenance contracts, ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with Corporate Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Property Management, or similar preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance skills.
• Two years’ experience in a facilities engineering leadership role in hotel/resort environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee building systems' condition and maintenance.
• Develop and implement maintenance standards and energy conservation.
• Plan and execute projects including contracts and renovations.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and standards.
• Direct facility operational planning for temperature, lighting, and equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering leadership and stakeholders.
