Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the facilities team across a luxury hotel/resort in Tampa. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and daily operations, ensuring the property remains fully operable, compliant, and welcoming for guests.

You will manage budgets, capital projects, and energy programs, collaborating with corporate leaders, asset owners, and stakeholders to protect asset value and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in facilities engineering leadership in hotel/resort environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Property Management, or similar preferred.
• Extensive project management experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team to maintain safe, attractive, fully operable properties.
• Manage budgets, capital expenditures and energy conservation programs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and corporate standards.
• Plan and oversee maintenance contracts and equipment upgrades.
