Job summary

Montage International seeks a Director of Engineering to maintain a safe, attractive and fully operable property, overseeing budget, capital projects and preventive maintenance while aligning with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

The role involves leading facility management, technology planning, energy conservation, and compliance across hotel/resort operations, with a focus on improving guest service standards and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a facilities engineering leadership role in a hotel/resort environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Property Management, or similar practice preferred and/or significant relevant experience.
• Extensive project management experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance skills.
• Must be strategic and have strong business acumen.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility engineering for hotel/resort operations.
• Manage budgets, capital projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, policies and standards.
• Develop and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and service delivery.
