Rainmaker Hospitality seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee all hotel maintenance and systems in a Hyatt-branded property. You will direct engineering operations, implement preventive maintenance, and ensure guest rooms, public areas, and grounds meet safety and quality standards.

You will lead a maintenance team, manage budgets, and coordinate capital projects, while maintaining OSHA compliance and energy efficiency. Flexibility for after-hours work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of hotel maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel maintenance management systems.

Responsabilités

• Direct and manage all engineering and maintenance operations for the hotel.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are implemented according to Hyatt standards.
• Maintain guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, exterior grounds, and back-of-house facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify necessary repairs and improvements.
• Lead safety inspections and corrective action plans; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Assist in planning capital improvement projects and renovations; coordinate contractors.
• Develop and manage the engineering department budget and monitor utility consumption.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate engineering staff; schedule coverage.
• Assist with emergency response procedures and staff training.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by prompt, professional maintenance support.
