Job summary

The DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join our team. This 100% on-site role focuses on operations, maintenance and repair of all hotel equipment to support guest satisfaction and profitability.

Reporting to the General Manager and corporate office, you will lead and develop the engineering staff, manage the preventative maintenance program and ensure safety standards and energy efficiency while maintaining AFP Management standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, maintenance, service and repair of all equipment.
• Lead and supervise hourly engineering staff and scheduling.
• Manage payroll hours and coordinate with accounting.
• Drive SALT-focused goals and energy conservation.
• Ensure preventive maintenance program is implemented.
• Attend safety meetings and train staff on AFP standards.
• Maintain up-to-date MSDS and safety procedures.
• Coordinate fire safety inspections and emergency responses.
