Job summary

The DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center is seeking an experienced PM Hotel Maintenance to join our team. This 100% on-site role reports to the Maintenance Assistant Manager and Chief Engineer, and starts at $20/hr.

The PM Hotel Maintenance role performs routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance throughout the hotel, convention center, guest rooms, and public areas. It supports safety standards and works with the engineering team to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while multitasking.
• Experience in hotel or related field preferred; varies by education level.
• Current certifications relevant to trade requirements (HVAC, electrical, pool, etc.).
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair guest room plumbing and water systems.
• Address leaks, ensure consistent hot/cold water supply.
• Respond to work orders and emergencies promptly.
• Inspect and maintain hotel systems and public spaces.
• Coordinate with engineering during major incidents.
• Promote safety and uphold AFP Management standards.
