Job summary

Eataly North America in San Jose is seeking a Senior Host to greet guests, seat them, and manage seating flow during service. You will be the first and last point of contact, reporting to the Restaurant Floor Manager.

Responsibilities include training new hires on reservations and OpenTable usage, maintaining waitlists, coordinating with events, and ensuring a welcoming, polished dining room from shift to shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train new host hires on reservations and hospitality standards.
• Maintain waitlist and seating chart using computerized system.
• Assist with private events and special reservations Coordination.
• Coordinate with management on guest recognition and service.
