Job summary

Eataly North America is seeking a Senior Host to greet guests, seat diners, and manage the flow of service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will train new hosts, manage reservations, and coordinate with events and management to ensure a seamless dining experience.

The role requires onsite availability, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Join a team focused on hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours including walking, bending and squatting

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage seating and guest flow during service
• Train new host hires on floor plan and reservations system
• Coordinate with events team for inquiries and special requests
• Maintain waitlist and seating chart using a computerized system
• Escort guests to tables, present menus and introduce servers
• Assist with hosting duties during AM and PM shifts and private events
• Communicate important reservation details to management each shift
• Support restaurant appearance and upkeep of tables and restrooms
• Relay information between management and host team and ensure smooth service
