Job summary

Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, TX is seeking an Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II to support filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments during the night shift. You will triage orders and ensure ADS integrity while providing safe, accurate pharmaceutical services.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee or license, and PTCB certification with prior hospital or integrated health-system experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee or licensing required on hire.
• Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License required on hire.
• 1 year of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB cert OR 2 years hospital pharmacy experience if not PTCB certified.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage patient orders.
• Maintain the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
